Awesome, addictive and an all around gem. No need to break the bank playing this game unless you are one of those people!! Latest update made the game way better.
This game is one of the best games ever on iOS.
Ive been playing since day 1 and have spent very little real money. I am in one of the best guilds and have over 25 7* characters. I find the new updates create new, exciting dimensions to an already in-depth game.
The people that complain about this game are mainly just impatient. Rome wasnt built in a day.
The game will give you what you put into it.
Just remember...its just a game.

as much as this game is great its the lack of buying time to keep playing especially the cantina which is both incredible difficult and lacks enough playing time.
aside from all this Galactic war is my favourite and challenges. Im afraid their idea of guilds needs work and is not on par with other social types of games...think more Destiny.
Im not a gamer or have a game station in my house but this game is absolutely addictive and frustrating at the same time. LOVE this game.
Great overall game. Its so good, I keep running out of challenges, energy, etc. and have to periodically stop playing it lol...UNLESS if you could input a way to acquire energy faster than just waiting to collect bonus energy or for it to slowly replenish? And I keep seeing characters in the game that arent yet obtainable. When WILL they? :-)
Some bad moments
The idea of the game is great, but you have to pay ridiculous amounts of money to get and upgrade your characters. On top of that, the developer is changing rules every month to make you spend real money. This is a frustrating game.
All said and done the gameplay is usually pretty decent. I say usually because as soon as you get used to the way they have it set up and get some momentum going with your progression, they make an update that throws a wrench in your gears.
Like most "free" to play games though, it gets to a point where unless you have the patience of GHANDI, they send you in the direction of their store where they expect hundreds of dollars to continue making headway in the game.
Whenever I go to their forum to express my opinions and read others postings, theres usually a pretty large consensus in the feedback on what the developers should fix. The developers will then respond with something along the lines of "weve heard you guys and were going to fix it"
However the problems the developers refer to 90% of the time are things Ive never heard of or have very little popularity. They also seem to enjoy just taking random shots in the dark for how they go about fixing things and rarely take public opinion into account.
For example they have a poll option when you post on the forum and a lot of those consist of players making suggestions for how to go about making changes or fixing gameplay issues. I havnt seen one of those polls actually considered yet.
One thing that will always confound me is the pricing they decide for some of the in store purchases. When a phone/tablet game asks you to pay around $100 for a leg up and a fighting chance... Why??? I dont spend that much on console games let alone a f-ing app!
Ill stick with this game for a little while longer with a slight hope for better changes, but they likely wont come.
Developers have no idea what direction this game is going anymore and constantly pushing patches that are broken and using the player base as beta testers for live content. CG/EA are awful, dont waste your time on this garbage. If it wasnt a Star Wars skin it would never get downloaded. Ps I wouldnt doubt if almost of the most recent positive reviews were bought / or bots.
The mod system that was released with the last update was so poorly play tested that they needed to nerf it by 90% after only 2 days. They did nothing to refund players that invested in it during those 2 days
It was fun, and the gap between F2P and P2P was not too bad. Then they introduced mods. The gap went through the roof. I couldnt finish GW why more. The paywall is heavy when you hit it and itll feel like you wasted a bunch of time at the end.
Im disappointed with the latest updates. Especially in galactic war. Its extremely hard now even with a good team and there is a few characters that make it impossible to even come close to winning against. Ive spent alot of time playing this game and now i feel like it was a waste of time because it feels like i cant get ahead anymore. Thinking about dropping this game. Too frustrating
